"I wasn't expecting it to be reacting so badly... I already used the mildest possible method to trigger the lurking parasite..." said Ben. "It's okay, I know, it's not anything we can predict or control of. For now, you need a rest." said Chris as he gently waved his metallic left hand in front of Ben's eyes, which slowly put Ben into a deep sleep...

Later, K is standing on a high area observing a huge quarantine room, inside the room is a whole row of people that are infected by the parasite that consist of soldiers of Alliance, town's people and some contestants of the tournament. Most of them still behave normal while of some are showing similar weird behaviour like T-527, those who are showing weird behaviour are either town people or Alliance's soldiers. K frowned as more and more people been brought into the room.
"K, are you alright?" said Sky as he walked towards K. K nodded without saying anything. "Chris had invaded Augustine III memories and he didn't find anything that might shows any signs that the Royal Guards are in charge of this thing, so I believe this is not their deed despite the fact that they had been doing all sorts of awful things. And from the symptoms of these infected people, I believe that some of them actually get infected way before the tournament even started." said Sky.
"Yes, I noticed about that. So... How is Dr. Ben? Is he alright?" K asked, slightly self blaming. "Well, his condition had stabilise. Don't worry, it's just a genetic sickness he borne with, it gets triggered up if he gets too tensed and nervous. But Chris is definitely not happy about that, he cares a lot about Ben, so am I." said Sky. "I see... It's my fault after all, I should have noticed something is not right with that mountain earlier. Can you please let me know what is the worst possible situation that can be happen?" K asked. "To be honest, I am not very sure about that. But rest assured, according to Chris's latest observation, this weakened version doesn't cross infect between people, so if we blocked the path to the mountain, we will be able to stop the infection. And I believe Chris and Ben will be able to find a solution to cure these infected people." said Sky. K nodded once again.

Meanwhile, laboratory.
Chris is continuing with his observation and research on those string parasites, he seems to be in bad mood. Maria is at his side, wondering if there is anything he could help with. Suddenly, Chris stopped whatever he is doing and stared at Maria.
"Uhm... Chris-chan?" Maria is slightly confused by that stare from Chris.
"If it is not the deed of the Royal Guards or the previous royal family, who else would be doing such a nasty thing?" Chris asked, out of the blues. "Uhm..." "Even though it's not the direct reason that lead to Ben's condition, but I really want to stuff a whole bunch of this disgusting stuff into the mouth of whoever that brought in these low lives." said Chris. "Mmm... Me too. But right now, I think our priority is to find the cure for this parasite." said Maria. "Yeah. I know. But even with the prescription left by Shiya, it will be a really tedious and time consuming task. Most of the materials needed are from different dimensions, even with the help from Kingdom and Alliance, it will take at least a month to gather all the materials needed." said Chris, rather troubled.
"Mmm... But Mr. Shiya's prescription is supposed to be the best prescription for it, right?" Maria asked.
"Yeah, but we don't have much time for that, after we gathered all the stuffs needed, those infected people would have either lost their lives, or in a dire condition and might caused a new cycle of infection. We need to find a faster and more direct solution. And despite the fact that it's less deadly than the slime parasite, it has a higher potential to destroy a whole dimension. This will be a hard task." said Chris.
"Hmm... Ah! I remembered Darling said that the parasite died as soon as it contacted to your skin, right? Maybe we can figure out something out of that." said Maria, rather bluntly.
"Ah... Actually it's not like what you think it is." said Chris before removed his glove showing the cut he made earlier to activate his Free Gift sword.
"It's actually reacting to my blood." said Chris as he stared into Maria's eyes.
"Ah..."
"But if draining off every single drop of my blood can actually end my life eternally, I am happy to do so." said Chris jokingly.
"Ah! No! I don't mean that! I will never do that to you!" Maria exclaimed, rather nervous. Chris giggled a bit after seeing that reaction of Maria.
"Heh? Chris-chan, are you teasing me again?" Maria asked, a bit mad with Chris's giggle. Chris shrugged before continuing with his research.
"Now come to think of it, no wonder there is no other animals in the deep forest except for that giant cockroach. With such a deadly parasite hidden underground, I doubt if any animal would survive it. But seriously, how the hell did that giant cockroach survived those deadly parasite?" Maria mumbled, which successfully drawn Chris's attention.
"That giant cockroach of Leah? Yeah! It survived in the deep forest filled with all those nasty low lives! Maria! You are a genius!" Chris exclaimed, rather exhilarated. "Eh? I am?" said Maria, totally confused. Without saying anything, Chris grabbed Maria's shoulders firmly and nodded with sincere eyes...
